After a pause that began in 2022, I return to this space with intention, reflection, and excitement. December 2025 marks not only the close of a year, but the end of the first quarter of a new century — a milestone that feels both personal and profound.
So much has happened in these years. We have aged. We have grown. We have endured, healed, and evolved. And now, standing at the threshold of 2026, we are offered something powerful: the opportunity to renew ourselves — especially in midlife.
This moment matters.
Midlife in a New Age: Renewal, Reinvention, Rediscovery
We are living in a new time. A new age. One that invites midlifers to step forward rather than step aside.
For too long, midlife has been framed as decline or loss. But that narrative no longer fits who we are or what we’ve lived through. This stage of life is not about fading out — it is about waking up.
Midlife is the season where we finally have the wisdom, clarity, and courage to:
Renew our sense of self
- Reinvent how we live, work, and love
- Rediscover what truly matters to us
- We have been riding the wave of life — sometimes gracefully, sometimes just holding on — and through it all, we have learned one undeniable truth:
We are resilient.
This Is Not the Way Out — This Is the Way Up
This is a time to be courageous.
We are not on our way out.
We are on our way up.
Midlife is an invitation to reinvigorate:
Our physical health
- Our emotional well-being
- Our creativity and curiosity
- Our purpose and sense of possibility
- This is the moment to stop shrinking and start expanding — to take up space in our own lives again.
Closing Doors, Opening New Ones
As 2025 comes to an end, I have closed many doors. Some chapters needed to end so new ones could begin. And now, as 2026 approaches, new doors are opening — doors filled with alignment, creativity, and growth.
I am excited. And I hope you are too.
Behind the scenes, I have been working on many projects — writing, creating, developing books, and shaping new offerings that support healing, reflection, and transformation. These will begin to come to light in the year ahead.
But before moving forward, it felt important to pause.
A Moment to Pause, Reflect, and Practice Self-Compassion
Before stepping fully into the new year, I am choosing to pause — intentionally.
To love myself, as I hope you love yourself.
To forgive myself for anything I may still carry.
To acknowledge my strengths and the resilience it took to get here.
This is my time.
Even as my body needs attention.
Even as my heart continues to grow and heal.
I stand here excited, present, and ready for what’s next.
Let’s Walk This Journey Together
I want you to know this: I am on this ride we call life too.
I understand the challenges, the uncertainty, and the courage it takes to keep becoming — especially in midlife. And because I understand, I stand beside you as your biggest cheerleader and supporter.
So let’s go.
2026, here we come.
Grand openings.
Traveling the world.
Writing and creating books.
Meeting people.
Living fully and intentionally.
I’m in it.
Come along with me — and with Dr. Mignon Online — as we create this next chapter together.
Yours truly,
Dr. Mignon
